Celebrating GW-OCEAN’s 10th Anniversary | A Decade of Action, Knowledge and Courage: We Are in Our Prime
On June 1, 2026, GW-OCEAN celebrated its 10th birthday. From a tiny start-up space to today’s deep cultivation of Intelligent Ocean, Smart Fishery and Marine & Fishing Equipment, the company looked back under the theme "A decade of action, knowledge and courage," thanked every customer and every team member, and set sail into its next decade with knowledge as its sail and courage as its oars.

On February 6, the First Members’ Congress of the Yantai Digital-Intelligence Industry Trade Union Federation officially released the list of "2025 Yantai Digital-Sector Featured Cases." GW-OCEAN’s "Maritime AIS–Radar–Electro-Optical Multi-Source Fusion Early-Warning Platform" was successfully selected.

- 2025-11-26 Award Good News | "Changdao Proposed National Park Candidate Area Sky–Air–Ground–Sea Integrated Ecological Monitoring Project" Wins First Prize at the 3rd "Digital Remote-Sensing Cup" On November 22–23, the finals of Shandong Province’s 3rd "Digital Remote-Sensing Cup" Natural-Resources Digital-Empowerment Innovation Application Competition concluded in Jinan. The Changdao Sky–Air–Ground–Sea integrated ecological-monitoring project, in which GW-OCEAN took part, stood out among many provincial entries and won First Prize. →
- 2025-06-19 Project Update First Oceania Project Completed: Kiribati Smart Fishery Management System Officially Goes Live On May 29, the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources Development of Kiribati held a launch ceremony for an offshore aquaculture floating platform in the Tarawa Lagoon. This is GW-OCEAN’s first project landed in Oceania, accumulating rich experience for the company in overseas network deployment and cross-border cooperation. →

- 2024-12-26 Bid Won Good News | GW-OCEAN Wins the Bid for the Fujian Ningde Nuclear Power Sea-Area Electronic Fence Procurement Project GW-OCEAN recently won the bid for the Ningde Nuclear Power sea-area electronic-fence procurement project. The project uses a radar–electro-optical linkage system to achieve real-time dynamic supervision of all kinds of vessels in the waters around the Ningde nuclear power station, preventing illegal vessels from entering designated zones. →
- 2024-09-21 Award "Genghai No.1" Intelligence Project Wins the First Prize of the 2024 Shandong Marine Science & Technology Innovation Award — Co-Developed by GW-OCEAN! The Shandong Provincial Oceanic Administration announced the winners of the 2024 Shandong Marine Science & Technology Innovation Award. The "Genghai No.1" intelligence project — jointly developed by Shandong Marine Modern Fishery Co., Ltd. together with Yantai University, the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute and GW-OCEAN — won the First Prize. →
- 2024-05-24 Product Developing New Quality Productive Forces: The Fine-Grained Marine Weather-Forecast Large Model — GW-OCEAN’s "Zhihai" Safeguards Maritime Safe Production GW-OCEAN’s fine-grained marine weather-forecast large model "Zhihai" combines local weather-station historical data to build a high-resolution micro-scale meteorological-field forecast model, providing high-precision marine meteorological services for fishing ports, offshore operation platforms and marine-ranch areas. →
- 2024-04-25 Partnership GW-OCEAN Joins Hands with Huawei to Release a Smart Fishing-Port Large Model! In cooperation with Huawei, GW-OCEAN launches "GW · Smart Port," a multimodal large model for smart fishing ports powered by Ascend’s formidable computing power, deeply combining traditional AI algorithms with large-model technology to achieve a new level of digitalization in fishing-vessel and fishing-port management. →
- 2023-09-17 Platform The National Aquatic Biological Resources Conservation Management Platform Is Officially Launched! On September 15, at the Guangdong Modern Marine-Ranch Development Forum held alongside the 9th Guangzhou International Fishery Expo, the National Aquatic Biological Resources Conservation Management Platform — jointly established by the National Fisheries Technology Extension Center and others — was officially launched, with GW-OCEAN as a member unit. →
